Is Heseda really free?
Yes. Starting a conversation, building your skin profile, and receiving recommendations are all free. We earn money through affiliate commissions when you purchase through our links — never from a subscription or hidden fee.
Do I need to create an account?
You can start a conversation without an account. To save your profile, track products, and receive free samples, you'll need to sign in with Google or Kakao.
How does the AI recommendation work?
Our AI builds a detailed skin profile from your conversation — including type, concerns, climate, routine, and sensitivities. It then searches products across Amazon, Coupang, iHerb, YesStyle, and other retailers to find the best matches. Every recommendation includes a match score so you know why it was suggested.
Are recommendations influenced by who pays you more?
No. Our AI ranks products by how well they match your skin profile. Commission rates are not a factor in ranking. Sponsored placements are always labeled separately.
How do free samples work?
Complete your skin profile (≥70%) and we'll send you a curated sample pouch — 3–5 products matched to your type and concerns. Currently available in the US and Korea, with LATAM expansion planned.
What languages does Heseda support?
Heseda works in English, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Product recommendations are matched to retailers available in your region and language.
How do you handle my data?
We store your skin profile to improve recommendations. We never sell individual data. You can delete your data at any time from Settings in the Heseda AI app. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD.
Is Heseda a medical device?
No. Heseda AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. We recommend consulting a dermatologist for skin conditions and patch testing all new products.
How do you make money?
We earn affiliate commissions (3–10%) when you purchase products through our recommendation links. We also offer paid sponsored placement slots to brands, which are always clearly labeled.
