When to see a dermatologist

If any of the following apply, please consult a board-certified dermatologist or healthcare provider before relying on AI-generated recommendations:

• Persistent rashes, hives, or unexplained irritation
• Changes in moles, new growths, or pigmentation concerns
• Severe acne, eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea flare-ups
• Post-procedure care (chemical peels, laser, microneedling)
• Known allergies to common cosmetic ingredients
• Skincare needs during pregnancy or while on prescription medication

Always patch test

Before applying any new product to your face or body, apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist or behind your ear. Wait 24 to 48 hours and check for redness, itching, or irritation. If a reaction occurs, do not use the product and consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist.

No miracle claims

Skincare results depend on many factors including genetics, environment, diet, and consistent usage. Heseda uses language like “may help,” “suitable for,” and “recommended for” to indicate general suitability based on your profile. These are not guarantees of effectiveness. We will never promise overnight transformations or claim to replace clinical treatments.

AI has limitations

Our recommendations are generated by AI technology. While highly capable, AI can occasionally produce inaccurate or outdated information. Product formulations may change without notice from manufacturers. We work to keep our data current, but you should always check product labels before use.

Your data, your choice

We store your skin profile to improve recommendations. We never sell individual data. You can delete your data at any time from Settings in the Heseda AI app. For full details, read our Privacy Policy. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD.

Allergen awareness

Skincare products may contain ingredients that trigger allergic reactions. Common allergens include fragrances, essential oils, certain preservatives, and botanical extracts. Always check ingredient lists carefully if you have known allergies. If you share your allergies with Heseda, our AI will factor them into recommendations — but this does not replace reading product labels.
